This page is maintained by Jet2 Roblox to explain how we handle your personal data on this website. It is not a certification or legal advice. Jet2 Roblox is a fan-made Roblox roleplay group and is not affiliated with Jet2 plc or Roblox Corporation.

1. Who we are

Jet2 Roblox ("we", "us") operates this website. For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we act as the data controller for personal data submitted through this site. You can contact us about privacy at privacy@jet2rbxstaff.com.

2. What we collect

Account data: email address, password (stored hashed by our auth provider), display name.
Profile data you choose to add: Roblox username and user ID, Roblox avatar URL, Discord username and ID.
Group activity: flights you attend, roster assignments, training progress, exam attempts, qualifications, applications, role requests, staff notes, strikes, and audit entries describing actions you take on the site.
Technical data: session cookies required to keep you signed in, and standard request logs (IP address, user agent) kept by our hosting and database providers for security and abuse prevention.

3. Why we use it (legal basis)

Contract / legitimate interest: to give you an account, run the virtual airline, schedule rosters, and verify staff activity.
Legitimate interest: to keep audit logs so we can investigate abuse, enforce group rules, and protect the service.
Consent: for optional features you actively enable, such as linking your Roblox or Discord account.

4. Who we share it with (processors)

We don't sell your data. We share it only with providers that help us run the site:

Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, authentication and serverless functions.
Roblox public API — when you link a Roblox username we look up your public Roblox user ID and avatar URL.

5. How long we keep it

We keep account and group activity data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your auth record and linked profile are removed; some operational records (such as audit log entries describing past actions) may be retained in anonymised form where we have a legitimate interest in keeping a historical record of moderation actions.

6. Your rights (UK GDPR)

Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
Ask us to delete your account and associated data.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Lodge a complaint with the UK ICO (ico.org.uk).

You can exercise the first three rights yourself from your profile page using "Export my data" and "Delete my account". For anything else, email privacy@jet2rbxstaff.com.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your theme preference. We do not currently run advertising or third-party analytics cookies. If that changes we will update this page and ask for your consent first.

8. Children

The site is intended for users aged 13 and over, in line with Roblox's minimum age. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us at privacy@jet2rbxstaff.com and we will remove it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date.
